Pierre van Endert Vocals
Hobbies:
Computers, cars, movies, theater, sports, my bike, philosophy and getting creative in my new awesome kitchen:-)
How did you start making music?
My parent's house was a musical one. Already as a baby the piano was my favorite toy (there's a photograph to prove it!).
I've always been fascinated by tunes and sounds. It's simply my way of expressing myself, actually. I hardly ever find the
right words at the right moments, which is probably why I lose almost every argument and every fight!
Other instruments:
Piano, guitar, bass guitar, a little flute and drums (whenever Steffen lets me play his set)
Did you take any lessons?
Yes, I took piano lessons until puberty wanted me to find this instrument so not cool. So I gave it up and soon a very
crappy electric guitar sexed up my room. I didn't take any lessons, though. But I had some courses with a vocal coach
Favorite bands/musicians: Mostly Rock, Metal and Pop. I don't commit myself to that only, though. I like everything
that inspires and touches me emotionally
Current favorite song: "Given Up" by Linkin Park and "Ich wollt' ich wär ein Huhn" by Max Raabe
Favorite movie/series: Movies with Louis de Funès and with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, funny Disneys, the Ocean's
trilogy, After The Sunset, Desperate Housewives...
Favorite animal: Tiger, hunting-leopard, bunny, squirrel...
Favorite car: Alfa 156 Sportwagon GTA, Aston Martin V8, Ford Mustang Shelby GT (Eleanor) and my old R19... still
grieving, mourning and crying my eyes out (R.I.P.)
Favorite meal: Fast food, green olives with garlic, poultry, granny's salad. But I'm also a gourmet
What were you at school? Teacher's pet, a follower or the clown?
The clown... Sometimes I was more of a weird outsider, though. It changed every now and then, depending on the people
around me
Who would be part of your personal band of your dreams?
Freddie Mercury, Slash, Brian May, Ed Warby, Jorn Lande, Pink, Richie Sambora, Joe Perry, Christoph Schneider, any Spanish
guitarist and Will Smith for the fun
Which character would you like to represent in a movie?
Jason Bourne. In 20-30 years maybe Paul Vitti alias Robert de Niro in "Analyze This". Or Jack Sparrow because of the
settings!
Which rumors about yourself have already been spread?
Homosexuality and the 'evil drug dealer' of my school. You might wonder how both rumors could fit together:-)
What's your tombstone supposed to say?
"...and still, he was a good car driver!"
People you're fascinated by:
Ludwig van Beethoven, Albert Einstein, Freddie Mercury, Will Smith, Shirkan the tiger, women
Aims in life:
Fly a chopper, participate at a rally, write a song or an opus, whatever, with the brilliancy of a "We Are The Champions",
"Singin' In The Rain" or the 9th Symphony by Beethoven. A melody that everybody knows and gets all the people together. It
may be aiming for the stars, but hey, boys have got to have the right to dream!
Philosophy of life:
"If you don't know what you're talking about, just shut the fuck up!". Other than that I try to be/stay open-minded for
new things, which means to feed the child inside but also using my brain
What do you like?
Human beings, driving cars, the night, tolerance, nonsense, self-mockery, languages, fatty Pizza
and even fatter fast food to fight the hangover with, a helping hand, a little vanity, puns, the ocean and the sun, starting
up fast food, delicatessen, curiosity, politeness
What don't you like?
Humankind (an awfully arrogant and sadistic creature), false pride, squalls, ignorance, some crappy TV-show, spurious
arrogance, bigotry, dazzlers, my alarm, double standards, paper work, hanging up laundry and this incredibly annoying trend
that everybody has to be always fun and crazy and wild. It's so embarrassing and ridiculous!
