2006 – Singer and songwriter Pierre is looking at a bunch of finished songs and a million ideas, thinking "Man,
this stuff has got to go public. I need a band!". He still has this bass guitar player Lars in mind who he has
known for years thanks to two failed projects and who shares most of his agenda with; it should be about
rock'n'roll, nice melodies, fun and variety. Without forgetting the passion!
Lars' old friend in music Steffen playing the drums is thrilled from the get go. Soon the next one to enter the
picture is Thomas with his guitar, who convinces with his feeling and this facility to play; that makes three great
musicians and individualists with both stage and band experiences.
Some awesome rehearsals show that tightness and fun exceeded all expectations, which means that they eventually
begin to sense some sort of band feeling growing among them; hellooooo Last CareZ! Finally... by the end
of 2007 Sören completes the band as the second but equally significant guitarist which this kind of music simply
demands. Now everybody can focus on the first corporate demo First Caress.
This self-produced EP (elaborated in both sound and layout) offers six tracks full of energy and even a guest
appearance of Edguy's guitarist Jens Ludwig. First Caress consistently receives good to
being-totally-amazed reviews by reputable online magazines (among others from Germany, France, Italy) and gets
to be aired on radio.
The entire program of Last CareZ stands for straight down-to-earth hard rock with a strong point for good
hook-lines in various ways. You gotta use the ideas the way they come! It means that powerful riffs merge with
smooth piano sounds; Soulful ballads surprisingly start to rock; Ironic and humoristic songs are gonna paste your
ass; Melancholic tunes will swing through your ears.
Simply fun and great music, full of passion, pure emotions, groove and feeling. Endued with their own style,
these five guys do what they want, without taking themselves too seriously, though. So, visiting a gig is gonna
pay off!
